A recent American Libraries Direct, sent to my email, hailed the title “Librarians Harvest Manga at Comic-Con“. I am now green with envy. If only I could justify travel to Comic-Con as a work expense, I would be the happiest fan girl in the world. Too bad I do not make any of the purchasing decisions. Our school does not currently purchase graphic novels. It is a research institution with a focus on technology. Graphic novels just do not get on the radar. However, leisure materials are in the Strategic Plan so I am crossing my fingers that money falls from the sky in the near future. I have so many suggestions.
